King Curly are an Australian alternative-folk band based in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales. Members include: Steve Appel - singer/songwriter, guitar, piano Elmo Reed - lead guitar, bvs Zoe Hauptmann - double bass, bvs John Hibbard - trombone & percussion, bvs Dan Creighton - Man Of Letters S'haila Bernard - Dancer & Spiritual Consultant .... “King Curly” was born of the desire to right wrongs and to punish evil. In that respect, his spiritual forefathers are Robin Hood, Batman, Moses and all of the rest of that head-kicking crew.
