Biography
Born and raised in Oslo, Norway, Sorbye's work as a guitarist and performer draws from a wide range of folk influences, from the folk revivals in the UK and North America to the traditional music from his home country. Currently heading the band Tempest - which combines all of these influences with rock & roll - he resides in Oakland, California with his wife Patricia, daughter Sarah and cat, Maddy.
