Agnes Chan or Agnes Miling Kaneko Chan (Traditional Chinese: ???; Simplified Chinese: ???; pinyin: Chén M?ilíng; Cantonese Yale: Chan Mei ling; Japanese: ????????), born August 20, 1955, is a pop singer, a television personality (Gaijin tarento), a Doctor of Education, a professor at Japanese universities, an essayist, a novelist. Since 1988 Chan is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and also supports the Japan Committee for UNICEF, a Japanese private corporation unaffiliated with UNICEF.
