Biography
Amish 82 is an elektro-trio from Trondheim, Norway, consisting of Jørgen Meyer, Bjørn Boassen and Snorre Valen. The duo makes house-influenced electronic music which draws inspiration from a variety of sources, namely A-ha, Freur, XTC, Kim Wilde, Kraftwerk, Michael Jackson and 808 State. Amish 82s debut album "There Is A Solitude Of Space" is a fullblown flirt with 80’s aesthetics, perfect summer nights, personal darkness, space travel, the cold war, long-drinks and youthfull fearlessness.
