Biography
Biyouna is an Algerian singer, dancer and actress, born in 1954, in Algiers. Since young she was used to sing at wedding parties. At 17 she was introduced at ont of the main cabarets of Algiers and at 19 she became a dancer at Copacabana. In the same year, the procuder Mustapha Bedie gave her the role of Fatma in La Grande Maison (The Big House) (1973), an adaption on the novel by Mohamed Dib. Her performance then gave her celebrity. She played in two Algerian movies: Leila et les autres (Lailah and the others)
