Biography
Ni-Hao! produce the kind of multi-part vocal gymnastics and booty-shaking bass-rock that either delights or irritates depending on your margin of tolerance towards exuberant Japanese child-women. The Kyoto-based all-girl trio were originally comprised of drummer Green Reo and bassists Red Ariko and Blue Yukari, also a member of Limited Express (has gone?). They released a clutch of mini-albums called Red and Blue on Seiichi Yamamoto's label Ummo Records before their full-length debut Gorgeous on Tzadik in 2005.
