Fritz Hauser Switzerland
Biography
Fritz Hauser (1953, Switzerland) is an improvising percussionist who has established his innovative and encyclopedic style (restricted to the simplest forms of drums and cymbals) with the solo performances of Solodrumming (1985), recorded in a building whose acoustics provide a seven-second echo, and Pensieri Bianchi (1990), as well as the twin discs Die Trommel (1988) and Die Welle (1988). He has also recorded several collaborations with Urs Leimgruber.
