Biography

Guillaume Gargaud is a French drone / noise musician from Le Havre, France known for his guitar work and love of improvisation. Guillaume Gargaud studied improvisation at IIMA, France between 1999-2002. He then joined Zwann Ei, a sound and video collective focusing on audio/visual context and how this relates to the body. In 2004 he joined Aarde with Loïs Laplace, releasing two CDs, A Whole Day and Desperate Islands on the Dirty Demos label. In 2007 Guillaume also started participating in the Future Ethnic Comparative Research Lab
