Jonas Ruchenhever

Biography

Jonas Ruchenhever made his first sound work when he was fourteen, using a variable speed cassette recorder, a four-track reel-to-reel machine, a couple of microphones, a cheap acoustic guitar, a lot of household appliances, and, when he had the money to spare, a rented Arp Odyssey. Three years and a pile of tapes later (mostly filled with hardly bearable stuff) he abandoned making sounds to pursue other creative interests.
