Kim André Rysstad is a folk musician, singer and performer of traditional Norwegian folk songs. He has captured the hearts of the Norwegian public with his remarkable voice – a soothing, soft and reflective vocal delivery that mesmerizes his audiences. Rysstad released his début album Tak hardt uti hand – a collection of traditional folk songs and medieval ballads in 2007. The album was voted ”Solo Album of the Year” at the Norwegian Folk Music Awards in 2008
