Biography
K?r?ka is a Turkish group playing their own versions and arrangements of Turkish traditional and classical music, rembetika, etc. The group was formed in 2000, and began to give concerts 2001. Their recordings of "Pireli Sirto" and "Hicazkar Zeybek" were included in the films Organize ??ler and Dondurmam Gaymak (both released in 2005). Their first album, Kaba Saz, was released in 2008 by Bayku? Müzik, and included their takes on folk songs and dances, rembetika, tango, and other styles.
