Mi?o?? (which means 'Love' in Polish) was a jazz group from Poland. Their musical style is often referred to as 'yass'. Mi?o?? was formed in 1988 in Trójmiasto by Tymon Tyma?ski, a double-bass and guitar player from Gda?sk. In the beginning Tyma?ski worked with Miko?aj Trzaska and Mazzoll, their music resembled free jazz and avangarde. After Mazzoll left in 1991 and Leszek Mo?d?er joined the group, their music came closer to traditional jazz, but still remained unorthodox and retained the experimental element.
