Modernboys Moderngirls

Biography

Modernboys Moderngirls are either punk rockers who play soul music or soul musicians who play punk rock. Influenced by the likes of Elvis Costello & The Attractions, the New York Dolls, Otis Redding and crates upon crates of classic soul and punk records, Modernboys Moderngirls are a 21st century garage soul band. In the fall of 2009, they released their self-produced debut, ten song album, I Might As Well Break It. The record was hailed by Canadian reviewers as one of the most engaging, raw, rock ‘n roll records of the year.
