Biography
Never Known is an ambient project from Milan, Italy, formed by Andrea Marutti. Since his childhood he showed a great interest for music, and after having been part of several bands during the 1980s, he decided to continue on his own a personal search for unusual sounds. The purchase of a portable recorder in 1991 was the decisive factor that pushed him toward experimental music. At that time he used to take field recordings and manipulate them with the help of a recorder equipped with a speed control.
