Tokyo based Aiha Higurashi started out in New York with her band Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her back in 1992 . The band were together for 9 years, playing an eclectic, cool scuzzy guitar sound similar to Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Pavement, and Sonic Youth and achieved some international success touring with bands like Mogwai, Yo La Tengo, and Modest Mouse.
