Satoko Fujii Quartet
Biography
Japanese pianist Satoko Fujii works in a variety of contexts. This one involves her husband Natsuki Tamura on trumpet, Ruins drummer Tatsuya Yoshida and bassist Takeharu Hayakawa. They combine the avant-leaning jazz of Fujii with the avant-rock energy of Yoshida into a unique fabric.
