Biography
Skáphe is the black metal project of American musician Alex Poole (Krieg, Chaos Moon, Martröð, Esoterica, etc.) Following the release of the self-titled debut full-length album in 2014, Icelandic musician D.G. (Misþyrming, Naðra, ?, and Martröð) was recruited and collaborated with Poole on their second full-length album, Skáphe², released in January 2016 through Fallen Empire Records and I, Voidhanger Records. The band incorporate elements of psychedelia, noise, and avant-garde metal into their music.
