The Tickle United Kingdom

Biography

The Tickle were one of the numerous British bands to release just one psychedelic single in the late sixties when major U.K. labels were taking their chances with a lot of psychedelic one-offs. This band evolved out of of the obscure mod rock band The Bunch Of Fives in late 1966 after their drummer Viv Prince moved on. They comprised Mick Wayne (guitar), Mike Docker (vocals), Dave Stuart Williams (keyboards), Richard Dowling (bass guitar), John Beckerman (drums). Together they released 'Subway (Smokey Pokey World)' b/w 'Good Evening' in 1967.
