This Bulgarian-Swiss mezzo soprano opera singer is highly in demand in Mozart and bel canto repertoire (voice-oriented opera by Rossini, Bellini, and Donizetti), though has now added Baroque leading roles like Ariodante, Rinaldo, and Ruggiero (from Haendel's 'Alcina') to her list. She is in high demand for the trouser roles such as 'Sesto' (Mozart's 'La clemenza di Tito), 'Orphee' (Gluck's 'Orphee et Eurydice'), 'Ruggiero' (Haendel's 'Alcina'), 'Romeo' (Bellini's 'I Capuleti e i Montecchi'), and 'Tancredi' (Rossini's 'Tancredi').
